Covenant M/M Colors
Covenant means contract. God
established an eternal covenant in the blood of His Son for all who receive
Jesus as their personal Savior. We stand in the blood covenant with God. And, as
a result, we stand in covenant with each other.
Heb 13:20-21, Heb 8:6, Heb 9:15
One in the Son.
Jesus prayed for us, “that they may
all be one; even as you, Father, {are} in me and I in you, that they also may be
in us, so that the world may believe that you sent me.”
We stand and ride as
“One in the Son.” John 17:21
Cross
The Cross is at the center of it all.
Jesus’ blood shed on the cross established the new covenant. Our hope was
formed and established at the cross 1
Pet 2:24
Shield
In the armor of God, faith is
represented by the shield. Eph 6:16
In our center patch, we actually have a
shield within a shield, this represents the fact that we desire to line our
faith up with the faith of Jesus Christ.
Heb 11:6
Sword
We stand with sword both drawn and
raised. We hold it high, giving glory and honor to Jesus Christ, the Word made
flesh. And we keep the sword (the Word) at the ready to combat the evil one.
There is only one Word of God...so, we wear one sword, pointed to heaven.
Eph 6:17
Each patch is outlined in the
red.
The red around each patch represents
the blood of Jesus. It covers us, cleanses us and protects us. It is the blood
of the covenant which surrounds every aspect of our lives.
Black cross and background.
The black on the cross and background of each patch serves to remind us that we came out of darkness. We were sinners and have been brought out of the darkness by the grace and love of God, and the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. In remembering we have received much grace, we actively seek to demonstrate much grace.
Gold as the main color.
Our shield and lettering are gold
because it is a precious metal. Just as our relationship with Jesus is the most
precious treasure a person can find. We are children of the Most High God and
God wants His children to have the best. We are called a nation of kings &
priests. God adorns His kings and priests in gold. Gold represents prosperity
and our God desires to make us prosper. Gold is one of the very best conductors.
We desire to be used by God to carry the power of His Word into the world.
